What is the Impress system?
Assisted tamping: it doses the ground coffee, tamps it with just the right pressure and a 7° barista twist, and automatically corrects the next dose. You get a well-rounded coffee with no mess and no weighing.
How many grind settings does it have?
25 settings, with a built-in conical burr grinder. The bean hopper holds 250 g of coffee beans.
Does it control the water temperature?
Yes. Its PID control heats the water to the exact temperature (93 °C) and extracts at 9 bar, with a pressure gauge so you can see the pressure on every shot.
What's included?

What's the difference between pressurised and non-pressurised filter baskets?
Pressurised baskets are more forgiving: ideal while you're getting the hang of it or if you use pre-ground coffee. Non-pressurised baskets get the most out of freshly ground coffee and let you fine-tune grind and dose like a barista.
